This came across my FB feed today as well and I can’t help but ponder….. this statement as powerful as it is…. inspiring….. thought-provoking….. I can’t help but wonder…. is there a way as parents that we may be able to prevent much of the undoing for our child(ren) in their years to come? Is it feasible for them to not have to undo as much as we have as adults? I realize as parents we can try our hardest to allow the purest of upbringings encouraging our kids to be truest to themselves, however none of us is perfect. We are still doing such for ourselves, so we will not be able to achieve this completely for them. Not to mention society…..
I think deeply….. Is it possible to prevent this undoing nature or journey for our children, or do we all face that fate because upbringing, society, etc will consistently have an effect no matter?
